I haven't written anything personal for a while on here, but i just wanted to share this with you guys. I'm not sure if you guys know, but I am a licensed COSMETOLOGIST NOW!!!!!!!! Yayyyy!!

So, anyway my hair designs were supposed to be in a shoot 2 weeks ago, but things happened and i wasn't able to do it. What i did was i came home, and had my very own photo shoot with 2 of my good friends, and also my Muse's. Here are the final results.

....Looking back at old photographs, so many memories are there. Through out the years so many things have changed in my life, I mean it's natural for things to change, however I still wish certain things would have remained.

Look at us, we were so close. Tashia, Shaquanna, and Stephen.
It was just the 3 of us, spending those weekends at grandma's house together.
What happened to those days? We looked after each other, we loved each other so much. Sometimes I bothered them, but we were still happy. Playing Super Mario Bros. and getting mad at each other, because we wouldn't give up the controller. Christmas with 2 Christmas trees, getting everything we wanted individually and then sharing with each other.

Now things are different, we grew apart. I still love them just the same but, it seems that we are worlds apart. I will make the first step to reach out. I want that old thing back, and now i have a niece who probably barely knows who I am. Love is in my heart and I truly miss their smiles.

Would you believe your ears if I told you that I loved the sound of "Owl City".

One night I'm driving home from dance rehearsal, and i hear this really catchy synth sound on the radio, than the beat dropped and the lyrics came flying out at me through the speakers, it made me happy actually. My ears smiled with relief as my brain thought "Something new". I immediately wanted to know who the hell this is.

It wasn't until almost a week later, I woke up to that catchy synth, and as my ears smiled again, as my eyes opened slowly to see the name "OWL CITY" and the title of the track was "Fire Flies." My body soon followed my ears and eyes, as I hopped up and danced around my room. I was excited about something new!

Not to long ago we were considered Generation X, but I think its time for a change!

It is the day to be thankful, and on this day am gaining more and more appreciation for this generation. The reason why? I just experienced one of the most inspiring episodes of the Fox Tv hit show "Glee".

I have always been a fan of this show, but this episode was so touching for many reasons.
Relationships were being restored, honesty was being shown, the music choices were perfect for this episode and soooo touching. I wish there was a way i could show you guys the episode, but maybe u can check it out on Fancast.com

Glee is one of the BEST original shows of our generation. Please keep it coming Glee.

As much as I have disliked a lot of things in this generation, I Hope this show is a sample of whats to come.

Art is still alive.

Some people still have the appreciation for the abstract art within pop music.
This is why Lady GaGa is so popular, in my opinion. Its not that she takes risks, She expresses her art. She is inspiring in many ways, because she is being herself. Nowadays artist are manufactured and are not being true to what they are. It seems everyone is doing it for the FAME. That's all this generation seems to want is FAME.

A lot of this generation is clouding up the lifestyle of ART, and Fashion, and Music. As we know the sun always shines through the clouds. We must clean up these dark clouds in the industry, stop promoting these bad artist, designers, and stylist. Lets leave room for real art.

I know that when I was younger MTV was a place to be all the time. Now it's lacking the art that is Pop culture. In the 90's and early 00's POP ATE MY HEART. Now it seems that my heart has jumped back out. Thanks to GaGa it might be going back

Often ignored, or not recognized, African American women have been the backbone of our society for as long as I can remember. Being raised by my grandmother, I will always have a great respect for black women. There is a nurturing spirit and a drive about them. We should be more appreciative of the women in our lives, because even though you may not know, they sacrifice a lot for us.

I take my cue from Oprah, (although I'm super late) I've heard all about the Legends Ball, but I had never seen footage of it. Inspiring is an understatement, I couldn't form my fingers to type the words of the energy that was in that room, the love, the support. All of these beautiful successful, young and old and all in between women. They were separated into two categories "Legends" & "Youngins"

No Matter how much we say...we always care what people think about who we are.
Sometimes we go through pain and sorrow and we hold it all inside, for the fear that other people may think we are weak, and or vulnerable.

We should all learn how to express ourselves in other ways. Extend your emotions through other things, if you cant do it like everyone else, find your way.

The following video is so inspiring to me, because not only are these people talented dancers, but you can feel the emotion as you watch this video. The combination of the music and the movement makes me feel everything I'm going through.

I know I havent been updating as frequently but, times are changing for the better.
People have been let go and things have been rearranged in my life.
I feel like a much happier person now that some burdens have been lifted off my shoulders.

Sometimes we as people can hold on to so many things and people in our lives who pretend like they are good for us, but it takes a wake up call to realize that some, act like they are in it for you, but all the while they are manipulating you to see it that way but its all about them.

Some I considered friends now are merely people to me. I just woke up and saw all of the Fantasy and Bullshit they were portraying their lives to be. I didn't want to be apart of it any longer, so I let it go. I no longer speak of any of these people, but I will say this...

after that thought I didn't know what to do...lol.

As I type this, I'm downloading some new stuff, while listening to
Letoya Luckett' sophomore album "Lady Love"

While I've never been a fan of hers, this album is really nice.
I'm describing it as, "Getting dressed" music...
you know that music you listen to while you getting ready to go somewhere...lol.

Let's stop sleeping on these artist and start listening to the whole album,
and stop letting them talk about our generation, and how we don't listen to full albums anymore.

With that being said, listening to their songs it speaks for itself.
When I first heard the name "RichGirl" I was skeptical, thinking oh is this just another group coming out, but when I finally listened to them I heard SINGING. Each of their voices has its own richness to it, with the tracks underneath their vocals it's just a beautiful sound.

My favorite song by them right now features another great artist Chris Brown.
