Would you believe your ears if I told you that I loved the sound of "Owl City".

One night I'm driving home from dance rehearsal, and i hear this really catchy synth sound on the radio, than the beat dropped and the lyrics came flying out at me through the speakers, it made me happy actually. My ears smiled with relief as my brain thought "Something new". I immediately wanted to know who the hell this is.

It wasn't until almost a week later, I woke up to that catchy synth, and as my ears smiled again, as my eyes opened slowly to see the name "OWL CITY" and the title of the track was "Fire Flies." My body soon followed my ears and eyes, as I hopped up and danced around my room. I was excited about something new!



"Owl City is an American synthpop musical project by Adam Young. Young started out making music in his parents' basement in Owatonna, Minnesota^[3] which he claims is a result of his insomnia.

Generation Now!

Not to long ago we were considered Generation X, but I think its time for a change!

It is the day to be thankful, and on this day am gaining more and more appreciation for this generation. The reason why? I just experienced one of the most inspiring episodes of the Fox Tv hit show "Glee".



I have always been a fan of this show, but this episode was so touching for many reasons.
Relationships were being restored, honesty was being shown, the music choices were perfect for this episode and soooo touching. I wish there was a way i could show you guys the episode, but maybe u can check it out on Fancast.com

Glee is one of the BEST original shows of our generation. Please keep it coming Glee.

As much as I have disliked a lot of things in this generation, I Hope this show is a sample of whats to come.

Lady Love

So yesterday I was thinking to myself (Self you need new music),
after that thought I didn't know what to do...lol.

As I type this, I'm downloading some new stuff, while listening to
Letoya Luckett' sophomore album "Lady Love"



While I've never been a fan of hers, this album is really nice.
I'm describing it as, "Getting dressed" music...
you know that music you listen to while you getting ready to go somewhere...lol.

Let's stop sleeping on these artist and start listening to the whole album,
and stop letting them talk about our generation, and how we don't listen to full albums anymore.

RichGirl' Got IT!

"RichGirl is an R&B girl group comprising Audra, Brave, Lyndriette and Seven. The group was formed with the help of record producer Rich Harrison, and is managed by Tina Davis. The quartet is currently recording their self-titled debut album, which will be released in the summer of 2009."

With that being said, listening to their songs it speaks for itself.
When I first heard the name "RichGirl" I was skeptical, thinking oh is this just another group coming out, but when I finally listened to them I heard SINGING. Each of their voices has its own richness to it, with the tracks underneath their vocals it's just a beautiful sound.



My favorite song by them right now features another great artist Chris Brown.

Kanye West is annoying, according to Pink. At Stella McCarney's Paris fashion show Kanye West sat next to Pink, and irritated her with his comments about the lack of fur in the show. So in an interview for FHM, through the sun magazine. Pink gave Kanye a piece of her mind!

“Kanye West is the person pissing me off right now. I was at Stella McCartney’s Paris fashion show with the vice president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Paul McCartney and Kanye West. The entire time Kanye is going, ‘They need more fur in this show’. He just wouldn’t shut up about how he loved fur. I mean, he’s saying this to me, the PETA guy and Paul McCartney! I Love Keri Hilson you guys! I feel that this is the time in music where real artist and Singers and Songwriters are coming out to play and i love it. Artist Like Jazmine Sullivan, and Keri Hilson, and Janelle Monae are def artist to watch!!

Ryan recently wrote a disclaimer about both videos stating that he liked both the videos

"For the record, I am very happy with both of my videos and what they represent. The first one that I shot with Diane Martel was a statement about the need for more diversity in the fashion business. I had just come from checking out the runways in Milan and aside from the DSquared2 show, I saw very little diversity represented. That video was a chance for me to work with a very strong female director and some under-exposed talent in the modeling world. The style is simple and photographic.

This video represents a different and just as important side of me: the imaginative, cinematic side. I worked with Aaron Platt and John Monopoly to make this tale of a stalker super-fan (played by Jeannena Flores from my 'Diamond Girl' movie) come to life. Starring Jaslene Gonzales (winner of America's Next Top Model) and featuring cameos by collaborators Fabolous and Swizz Beats, this video finds me in studio, shopping with my girl, and catching her as she falls - swooning unconsciously from my stalker's poisoned libation. For a long time, I've wanted to have a video that shows the incredible chemistry we've had as friends and collaborators. "Long Way To Go" was close, but we weren't in any frames together aside from when she snapped her fingers at me on the way into the club. Disney had cut together a clip for "Is It You", a record I'd written for her on the 'Step Up 2: The Streets' soundtrack, but never officially released it as a single/video. It featured her in character as Sophie rehearsing the song with me at the piano. Due to her hectic schedule recording this new album, she wasn't available to shoot either 'Addiction' video with me and so I'm working on another collaboration/single for her album that deserves a video - unless I can convince her to do one for "Sometimes" or even "Just One Nite" (both songs I would love to see visually interpreted)."

No More Modeling?

High fashion model and guru Gemma Ward has stormed many runways and campaign ads for the past couple of years and has NO trouble with doing such. Recently picking up roles in major film productions (The Strangers & Black Ballon), Ward has tapped into her acting skills and now plans on pursuing it FULL TIME - at least according to sources.

"Gemma Ward is close to officially retiring from modeling. She is retiring to pursue her Hollywood acting career." Pedestrian Magazine quoted.

From Her roll in "The Strangers" you couldnt tell much. She didnt have too many speaking parts. If you've seen the movie she's the girl at the door.

Now I hear news that Beyonce is set to perform at this years Fashion Rocks in September. This picture of Mrs.Carter in this armani suit is from the upcoming issue of the Fashion Rocks Magazine. It just makes me wonder...What the hell is she going to perform?
